New ABNS Research Study Seeks Input from Specialty Nurses Nationwide
Nurses across all specialties are encouraged to participate in a national research survey examining the value of specialty nursing certification.
Led by the American Board of Nursing Specialties and supported by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board, this study seeks to better understand the motivations behind certification, potential barriers, and the impact certification has on professional growth, job satisfaction, and patient care outcomes.
Why Your Participation Matters
Whether you are currently certified or not, your input will contribute to a broader understanding of how certification supports nurses and strengthens healthcare delivery.
What to Expect
Participants will complete a brief, confidential survey focused on their professional experiences and perspectives. No personally identifiable information will be collected, and participation is entirely voluntary.
Participant Incentive
As a token of appreciation, participants will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to win gift cards.
Make an Impact
Your feedback will help inform future decisions by certification organizations, employers, and the broader nursing community-ensuring continued support for nurses at every stage of their careers.
