Verification of Certification
AANPCB verification allows employers, state boards of nursing, and other organizations to confirm the certification status of nurse practitioners certified through AANPCB. Verification helps ensure that an NP’s credentials are current, valid, and in good standing.
AANPCB provides the following upon written request:
- Confirmation of nurse practitioner certification status (certified/not certified) to State Boards of Nursing, employers, third-party vendors, and the public.
- Verification of candidate eligibility-to-test to State Boards of Nursing.
Please Note:
AANPCB only sends verification upon request. Exam results are never shared with employers or SBONs – only certification status is provided.
