You Have Two Ways
To Renew
Certification is “time limited”. Minimum requirements for renewal of certification must be met within the 5-year period of certification in order to renew certification.
Why Renew: Commitment to
Ongoing Excellence
Renewing ensures that nurse practitioners continue to meet current professional standards and maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge.
The process encourages ongoing professional development through continuing education and clinical practice hours.
Renewing every five years helps validate the credibility and rigor of the certification, reinforcing public trust in certified practitioners.
